La Mujer was born in 2020 from the dream of Magda Kocańda, who grew up in the world of tailoring from a young age, surrounded by fabrics, threads, and a passion for craftsmanship. As she says: 

"From a young age, I loved sewing and designing. I participated in many clothing design competitions, and as the youngest participant in the OFF FASHION competition, I made it to the semi-finals. My grandmother was a seamstress, my mother is still a seamstress, and in 1978, she and my father opened a tailoring business. That's why I can assure you that we are very knowledgeable in tailoring. In 2020, I launched my company, La Mujer, specializing in the production of accessories with buckwheat husk. Personally, I love nature, an ecological lifestyle, and I fell in love with buckwheat husk for its amazing properties. We sew and cut everything in our family business in Poland, then fill it with buckwheat husk."

Inspired by a tradition dating back to 1978, she began creating unique yoga accessories filled with buckwheat husk. From the initial design, through hand-sewing, to the careful selection of materials, everything was created with incredible care and attention to every, even the smallest, detail.

We began working with Magda to promote La Mujer. This allowed us to learn about the brand's philosophy and see every stage of product development firsthand. When Magda decided to dedicate herself to new projects, it was a natural step for us to take the brand under our wing and continue its history in the same spirit. We fell in love with La Mujer, so today we continue with immense respect for its roots. We want La Mujer to continue to be a place where tradition meets modern design, and where every woman feels important. And so we are here today. Today, we sew in a new workshop, with a new team at the helm, but with the continued emphasis on ensuring that each product is created with the same care as when the first piece was created.
